Valentino: the last emperor

There seems to be a proliferation of fashion documentary films of late - The September Issue featuring Anna Wintour and Lagerfeld Confidential about Chanel's maestro Karl Lagerfeld.

I will be looking out for this film, which has recently screened at the Sydney Film Festival. The story revolves around the day to day activities of Valentino and his partner Giancarlo Giammetti in what it takes to design and deliver several fashion shows, the lead up to his 45 year celebration, and the demands of the corporation behind haute couture.
